Grandpa's Makeover....by Jennifer

Grandpa asked me to do this for him, I don't know if he's going to like it or not. He's been talking about getting a wig and maybe this will help him make up his mind. I think he's cute just the way he is. This was just for fun!!!! Which is your favorite???

Poem I wrote for the New Year

A Time For Greatness
By Henry Greenfield Ph.D

The time is now
To do something great.
I pray that it's
Not too late.

What will it be?
Perhaps to write a book or sail the sea,
Or maybe create something new
Something useful for me and you!

Maybe some art form
I could invent,
Or a spiritual awakening
Heaven sent.

I must start today
Not to wish my life away.
I must stay on course
Against every negative force.

The time is now I know
To begin working and to grow,
And reap the harvest of
The seeds I sow.

I must be determined,
Unswerving to complete
That which I must
To accomplish this feat.

Whatever I choose to do,
It will be right.
It is for this
I must fight!

It's time to do something great.
I know now it's not too late.
I'll start and work hard
And create my own fate.

Greatness comes from the journey,
Not from the goal.
It's what we learn on our way,
That brings joy to our soul.

More Christmas joy...

It's always fun to be with my Great-Grandchildren. Here is a snapshot of the Handsome One and his pirate friend, Ammon.

I'm still here...

I know I'm all right--My name didn't appear in the obituary and I fogged up the mirror this morning---Everything is OK. I traveled to Jennifer's house today to visit the family --especially the "pirate" Ammon. I have had a busy week---Moved my office to Palmdale, had an audit ,and completed some requirements for my licensing. We are getting ready for Christmas--many of my family members will be at our home--from all over the country.

This a spiritual time of the year. This is a special time for my brother, Oscar, who accepted the Lord this year. He is excited about having a Christmas tree in his house---not a Hanukkah bush..
